As your garden coach, I can help you with ideas to start, refresh, or troubleshoot problem areas in your garden. I can save you money by helping you choose and site plants most likely to succeed in your garden. I offer an initial 60 minute garden coaching session for $100, during which I can help you with:

  • Identifying existing plants in your garden

  • Choosing plants that will thrive in your garden conditions

  • Offering solutions to problem areas

  • Ideas to refresh and keep your garden looking good

Garden Design

Do you want to create an urban oasis, but need help with the layout or choosing plants that will perform best in your conditions? I can design a garden that maximizes the joy and value of your urban space.

Your design includes:

  • A color overhead plan drawn to scale, which identifies the garden bed outlines, plant placement, and plant names

  • A plant list with specific plant names, photos, quantities, and projected budget

I offer garden design services for $100/hour. Most small urban garden spaces I designed in 2025 ranged from $400 - $600. If you would like to discuss creating a design for your garden, email me at nhensley0116@gmail.com

Seasonal Containers

Celebrate the four seasons with containers designed specifically for you. Whether that’s a formal urn filled with pastel tones or a more whimsical windowbox with bright colors, your personality will shine through. See photos below or click on ‘Containers” in the main navigation to see more examples of containers I have designed.

Pricing is based on container size and includes: design; potting soil; plants; slow release fertilizer; and labor to plant the design. Seasonal decorations are an additional cost. Sample sizes:

  • 12” round or 10” x 10” square container - $120

  • 14” round or 12” x 12” square container - $135

  • 24” long windowbox - $100

  • 36” long windowbox - $150
